We knew going in to this process it would be several weeks just to secure permit approval from the county. Cue in an excessive amount of web searching to compare tile colors, Pebble Sheen colors and their effect on the color of pool water, patio furniture, etc. The best kept secret is the county actually makes available the status for permits...so, that became a daily watch party on its own! I have to say, as distractions go, it was quite fun! LOL!
So, when our permit showed as not only approved, but confirmed on the county website - you can only imagine the "happy dance" that took place in our soon-to-be-demolished back porch. We met with Bob Stauffer that Saturday to finalize our waterline tile and Pebble finish selections.
Things really ramped up from there! On Tuesday morning, we had our first call from Ted Sharrone, the Project Manager for what has become (in our minds) an epic build! Let me tell you - this guy and his crew are Energizer Bunnies on steroids....they keep going and going...NON-STOP!
Wednesday -(The NEXT DAY), they had the screened porch ripped out!
Saturday/Sunday (did I mention this crew is NON-STOP?):
